BSN Evotest Review

BSN Evotets review

Today we’re going to be reviewing BSN Evotest, with its concentrated testosterone support matrix (whatever that means).

Claiming to be the World’s first concentrated testosterone support powder it is also available in capsule form for those that don’t want the hassle of making a drink up each time.

Created by BSN and available in a selection of flavors including black cherry, orange and grape.

I can’t say that we’re too taken with the powder form as it’s much easier to take testosterone boosters in capsule form.

Ingredients – Proprietary Blend

bsn evotest ingredientsBeing a proprietary blend there is no way of knowing the exact amounts of active ingredients in this formula. The good news is that it contains DAA but apart from that there are few ingredients to get excited about.

  • D-Aspartic acid
  • Magnesium oxide
  • Vitamin D
  • Some filers and flavors

The makers have stayed clear of adding tribulus terrestris whose effects are regarded by some as dubious.

While Magnesium is known for its calming properties it can also act as a laxative if consumed in high quantities.

There are also some extra ingredients such as Ginger root, Lactic acid, Gingko extract and Flax seed thrown in for good measure.

plus some other fillers and flavoring added

Side Effects of BSN Evotest

Actually there are a couple one may be a matter of preference the other is just embarrassing.

You’ll notice as soon as you open the tub the fruity smell of grape of black cherry which really isn’t too bad if you’re used to that that from your sports drinks. What isn’t nice is the taste. Some have likened it to flat cola, or Dr. Pepper, while others had trouble drinking it at all.

The other issue is that Evotest has been known to act as a laxative in several buyers. There is quite a lot of Magnesium in the product which likely explains this but we would suggest trying it at home first before heading out to the gym for the first time. You’re not going to get much of a workout if you’re rushing off to the toilet all the time.

This side effect seems to manifest itself within an hour of drinking it so you’ll know by then if it’s suitable for you or not.

One or two users have also reported having headaches after consuming the drink as well.

But Does it Work?

There are no indications that this product will help you gain lean muscle mass in the gym. A couple of users noted that it gave them a little more energy and their muscles felt a little firmer but the majority noticed no discernible differences apart from the side effects which seem to be enough to put people off.

Where to Buy it

Each 264g container has enough for 30 servings which translates to a 15 day supply and costs around $30 in the US and £30 in the UK  if bought online.
